Obituary for Delores Mae Krogh

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Delores Mae “Dee” Krogh, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Western Home Communities Martin Center in Cedar Falls.

She was born May 10, 1932 in Independence, Iowa, the daughter of Frank T. and Alice Mae Roberts Riedel. She married Rodney L. Krogh June 9, 1956, in Cedar Falls. He died June 27, 1995.

She was employed at the University of Northern Iowa in the College of Education Print Services.

Survived by: three sons, John (Beth) Krogh of Ankeny, Paul (Deb) Krogh of Vancouver, WA, and Frank (Tammy) Krogh of Hudson; daughter, Mary Catherine Krogh of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren, Alison, Laura, Tyler, Hayley, Ryan, and Logan; and two sisters, Fran Putnam of Cedar Falls and Margaret (Larry) Althof of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by: her parents, two sisters, Mary Catherine Fair and Shirley Cahill.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. scripture service.
