Biography--

Erik Gedusky, 31, of Waterloo, died at home Thursday, April 7, from complications of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

He was born February 5, 1985, in Waterloo, the son of John Gedusky and Cynthia Yarrington Moline.

Erik graduated from Waterloo West High School in 2003. He was involved in Cub Scouts and with the annual MDA Telethon for many years

Survived by: his parents, Cindy and Todd Yarrington Moline of Waterloo, and John Gedusky of Oregon; siblings, Robyn Gedusky and Brandon Miller, both of Waterloo, and Bradley and Danielle Gedusky, both of Oregon; stepsiblings, Jessie Moline, Josh (Whitney) Moline, Callie (Mark) Paar, Lindsay (Brett) Moline and Hannah (Curtis) Moline; maternal grandfather, Wayne A. Weber of Quasqueton; grandmothers, Mary Harting, Donna Brandhorst and Janet Gedusky; nieces and nephews, Keaton, Kierra, Issak, Marlee and Olivia; many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Pam Yarrington and Andrew Johnson of Orlando, Fla.; his stepfather, Randy (Cheryl) McGee of Melbourne; and his Godmother, Marci Kruger.

Preceded in death by: maternal grandfather, Robert Yarrington; maternal great-grandmother, Mabel Hartman Hay; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Mae Hay Weber; and paternal grandfather, Elwood "Woody" Gedusky.

Services:
Family-Directed Celebration of Life Services: April 11, 2016, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with a time of fellowship following the service at the church.

Cemetery:
Erik and his cat Tiger Sue’s ashes will be scattered in the Highlands of Scotland (per his wishes) at a later date.
