Biography-

Marilyn Darlene Weiss, age 78, of Dunkerton, Iowa, died at UnityPoint Health ‑ Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

She was born on January 19, 1938, in New Hartford, Iowa, the daughter of Hans & Emma (Miller) Jensen. She married Andrew Edmund Weiss, October 22, 1966, in Cedar Rapids.

Marilyn graduated from New Hartford High School and attended Gates Business College. She worked as a Payroll Supervisor for Tommy Armour Golf, retiring in July of 1998.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew Weiss of Dunkerton; four nephews: Charles (Sara) Anderson of Dunkerton, Gene (Diane) Anderson of Dunkerton, Donald (Gale) Anderson of Heath, Texas, and Stephen (Ellen) Anderson of Readlyn.

Preceded in death by her parents, Hans & Emma (Miller) Jensen; step‑mother, Ann Jensen; sister, Margaret Anderson; and a brother‑in‑law, William "Billy" Anderson.

Services: Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel; and a Celebration of Life Service will take place at 2:00 PM on April 9, 2016 at the Barclay United Presbyterian Church; 9008 Newell St, Waterloo, Iowa.

Cemetery: Inurnment will be held on April 9, 2016 in the Old Barclay Cemetery
