Biography--
Helen M. Curl, 93 of Waterloo, died on March 5, 2016 at UPH –Allen Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
She was born April 24, 1922 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, daughter of Floyd J. and Marie Delano Bowers. Helen graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1941. She married Eugene H. Curl on March 8, 1945 in Ft. Dodge. He died July 8, 1993.
She was a member of the Kimball Ave. United Methodist Church. Helen was also a member of the Ft. Dodge Eastern Star, White Shrine and the First United Methodist Church, Ft. Dodge.
Helen is survived by her two daughters: Janet (Robert) Condon of Cedar Falls, and Susan (David)Trower of Waterloo. Four Grandchildren: Jason Tyrrell, Andrew Tyrrell, Cory (Nicole) Ernst and Chad Ernst. Thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband and brother, Charles Bowers.
