Marlene S. Sagert (1934-2016)

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Marlene S. Sagert, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, February 21, 2016, at her home.

She was born July 30, 1934, in Washington, Ohio, daughter of Alphonse and Gladys (Stoffel) Andris. She married Roger Sagert on June 9, 1972 in Waterloo, and was a homemaker.

Survived by: her husband of Cedar Falls; two sons, Paul (Patricia) Imes Jr of Thassos, Greece and David Sagert of Waterloo; five daughters: Pam (Scott) Hansen-Rudisill of Cedar Falls, Holly (Burt) Glasener of Cedar Falls, Robin (Bill Wolfe) Rogers of Waterloo, Pam Tarr of Waterloo, Dawn (Scott Mussell) Sagert of York, PA; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Sharon Wolverton of Longview, TX, Teresa (Jeff) Radel of Fredericktown, OH, and Jan (Mark Harris) Andris of Marietta, OH; and a brother, Rick Andris of Marietta, OH.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Geri McDermott; and two brothers-in-law, Tom McDermott and Melvin Wolverton.

Services: Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, with inurnment at a later date in Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Visitation on Wednesday at the funeral home and also for one hour prior to the service.
