TRIPOLI, IOWA – Mary C. Jordan, 82, of Tripoli, formerly of Evansdale, died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Dunkerton.

She was born May 31, 1933, in Waterloo, Iowa, daughter of Walter “Skinny” and Esther (Coffin) Webber. She married Donald Jordan on May 13, 1950 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He died February 27, 2012.

She attended Waterloo East High School and was a homemaker throughout her adult life.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann (Michael) Nash of Tripoli and Mary Jo Day of Dunkerton; two sons, Don (Norma) Jordan of Eldora and DeeJay Jordan of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Maas of Toledo.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jeff Day and Brent Walton; three brothers: Jimmy, Bobby and David Webber; one sister, Dorothy Beamon; and a son-in-law, Walt Day.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls.
