Biography--

Shirley A. Scheffert, 86, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, February 3, at Bartels Home, Waverly.

She was born December 4, 1929, in Dubuque, the daughter of Chris and Ellamena Myer Dausener. She married Edward Scheffert on November 27, 1948, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo and he died November 6, 2007.

Shirley was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Terry (Sandie) of Waterloo; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Kay Anderson of Independence.

Preceded in death by her husband; her son, Randy; a daughter, Wendy Dugan; and a brother-in-law, Russ Anderson

Services: Monday, February 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a later date. Public visitation Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Visitation also one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
