Biography--

Kirsten "Kris" Easter, 46, of Waterloo, died Monday, February 1, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center, of a heart attack.

She was born October 1, 1969, in Waterloo, daughter of Jerry and Marie Dietrich Easter. She married David Williams in 1996 in Waterloo, and they later divorced.

Kris graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1987, and attended Waldorf College, the University of Northern Iowa and Hawkeye Community College. She was a patient care coordinator at VGM Homelink for the past 10 years and also a cashier at Jim Lind Service Station. She also was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church. Kris was her own person but lived life for others, especially Dalton, Michaela and Henry. She loved animals and was passionate about baseball and politics.

She is survived by a son, Dalton Williams (Michaela Stitchman) of Waterloo; a grandson, Henry Williams; her mother of Waterloo; a brother, Ryan (Deborah) Easter of Geneva, Illinois; and two nephews, Luke and Nicholas Easter.

She was preceded in death by her father.
