Obituary for John Robert Creasey

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - John Robert Creasey, 33, of Yuba City, California, formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home on Saturday, January 16, 2016.

He was born April 15, 1982 in Sioux City, Iowa, son of Robert and Kathleen (Marty) Creasey. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 2001 and attended UNI.

He was employed as a bartender and manager with Justin’s Kitchen of Yuba City.

Survived by: his mother and stepfather, Kathy and Jim Krieg of Cedar Falls; his father and stepmother, Bob and Robin Creasey of Denison; a brother, Andrew Creasey of Yuba City, CA; a sister, Megan Creasey of Iowa City; two step sisters, Becky (Zac) Sinram of West Des Moines and Katie (Mike) Heitzler of Loveland, CO; a stepbrother, Mike Krieg of Denver, CO; paternal grandmother, Elaine Creasey of Kingsley, IA; and maternal grandmother, Emogene Marty of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Creasey; and maternal grandfather, Howard Marty.

Services: Saturday at Orchard Hill Church in Cedar Falls. Visitation on Friday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, and also for one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
