Biography--

Connie J. Tiffany, age 66 of Waterloo, died Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born May 2, 1949 in Waterloo, the daughter of Roscoe Myron and Marvelle Agnes Diedrich Nation. Connie graduated from Waterloo East High School with the Class of 1968 and earned an associate’s degree from Hawkeye Community College. She was united in marriage with Donald Elmer Tiffany on April 8, 1995 in Waterloo.

Connie worked as a certified nurse’s aide at Deaconess Hospital Nursing Home in Great Falls, MT. for 18 years. When she returned to Waterloo, she worked in the maintenance department at College Square Mall in Cedar Falls for 8˝ years, retiring in 2003. Connie loved to draw, crocheting afghans, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Donald of Waterloo; a son, Daniel Bluedorn of Great Falls, Montana; a daughter, Diana (Randall) Hawley of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren: Marlena Bluedorn, Michael Bluedorn, Samantha Hawley and Ben Hawley; two great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Michael; three sisters: Sandra (Preston) Davis of Waterloo, Nancy (Robert) Foster of Cedar Falls and Mary (Mark) Toppin of Waterloo and two sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Kenneth) Renken of Waverly and Sally Slaughter of Evansdale and a special friend, Jim (Shari) Lueking of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Heather Jean Bluedorn and a sister, Judy Peterman.
