Biography--

Latitia "Tish" Pace, 91, of Friendship Village, died at Friendship Village Health Pavilion, Monday, December 14, 2015.

Tish was born March 24, 1924, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Loras and Harriet Chapman Butler. She attended school in Dubuque and Davenport and graduated from the University of Dubuque.

Tish married Bob Pace after his return from the military on June 9, 1946, in Dubuque, Bob died January 14, 1995

She was an elementary school teacher and then a Head Start Teacher until retiring in 1984. Tish was a wonderful, smart, kind, mentoring, good friend. She enjoyed playing cards, chocolate, lunch with friends, college basketball and football especially UNI and Iowa State, and a martini and cigarette with Bob when he returned from work. They enjoyed family vacations, a couple of winters in Tucson after retirement, and were proud of the accomplishments of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Junior League, P.E.O. and Trinity Episcopal Parish.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Olsen of Lenexa, Kansas; daughter in law Becky Pace of Beaverton, Oregon; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren: Chris (Erica) Olsen and Nicole and Carter of La Paloma, California; John (Hallie) Olsen and Pace, Ryan, and Everly of Atlanta, Georgia; Shawna (Josh) Pace-Powers and Rachael and Blake of Tigard, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Michael, and sister Sue Chapman.

Services:
Memorial services arrangements are pending.

Visitation:
There will be no visitation.

Cemetery:
Following cremation, in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials:
In lieu of flowers, to Trinity Episcopal Parish or Cedar Valley Hospice.
