John “JB” Ernest Bollans, 59, of Cedar Falls, died of natural causes on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
He was born June 11, 1955 in Cedar Falls, the son of Ernest and Edna (Alcock) Bollans. John married Rita Schaefer in Waterloo, Iowa, and they later divorced. He was a graduate of Cedar Falls High School and worked at John Deere & Company for forty years, retiring in 2015. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 838. John enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, photography and camping.
John is survived by his son, Jeremy (Kristle) Bollans, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; his daughter, Abbie (Casey) Harrison, of Montrose, Colorado; four grandchildren, and his mother, Edna Bollans, of Cedar Falls.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Brian Bollans.
