Biography--

Morris C. See, age 87, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette.

He was born February 16, 1927 in Mt. Auburn, Iowa, the son of Guy and Lucy Abbott See. Morris was united in marriage with Betty Jean Bemus on October 3, 1948 at First Baptist Church in Waterloo.

Morris was an electrician with See Electric in Waterloo for many years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Morris enjoyed bowling in his younger years and liked to play the piano, sing and entertain others. He was a skilled self-taught carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Betty of Waterloo; two daughters, Sandy (Gene Westphal) See of Waterloo and Deby (Bruce) Buhr of Sumner; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Ron (Norma) See of Brownsville, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Scott See; a daughter, Cindy Staebell; nine brothers and two sisters.
