Services:
Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in La Porte City with Military Rites will be conducted by the La Porte City American Legion U.S.S. San Diego Post #207.

Visitation:
Sunday at La Porte City Funeral Home and also one hour before the service at the church.

Cemetery:
Spencer Cemetery, Geneseo Township

Biography--

Keith Alan Riggins, 90, of Marshalltown, formerly of Waterloo and La Porte City, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Iowa Veteran’s Home in Marshalltown of natural causes. He was born April 8, 1924 in Davenport the son of Clarence Stuart and Esther (Lockwood) Riggins. He was a graduate of Hampton High School. He married Mabel Virginia Taylor on May 1, 1947 in Waterloo; she preceded him in death on June 23, 1994.

Keith worked as a Bagger for Kent Feed retiring after 21 years. He was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in La Porte City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by two sons, Veryl A. Riggins of Waterloo, Orlin D. (Cheri) Riggins of La Porte City; three grandchildren, Alicia (Cory) Wilson of Dunkerton, Tessa Riggins of Dunkerton and Taylor Riggins of La Porte City; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Stuart Riggins of Hampton, Glenn Riggins of Albuquerque, New Mexico and one sister, Jean Enders of Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mabel and several brother and sister-in-laws.
