Monday, March 23, 2015 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel

Visitation:
Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel: 3146 Kimball Ave. Waterloo. Also one hour before the service on Monday.

Cemetery:
Burial will take place in Lyn-Wood Cemetery, Clarksville. Full military honors will be presented by the Clarksville Amvets Post #30 and Iowa Army National Honor Guard.

Biography--

Jerry Lee Wygle, 66, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at his home of natural causes.

He was born November 21, 1948, in Waterloo, the son of Verne and Esther (Ellermann) Wygle. Jerry graduated from Jesup High School with the Class of 1968. He was united in marriage with Cindy Branstetter on November 11, 1972. They were later divorced. Jerry married Kelli (Keefe) Miller and they were later divorced.

Jerry was a Machinist with Deere & Co. for 31 years, retiring in 2004. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and served with Co. B. 25th Medical Bn and was stationed in Cu Chi.

Jerry was a good cook and also enjoyed camping and fishing. He also liked woodworking, shooting pool and riding his Harley

Survivors include a son, Christopher Wygle of Waterloo; two daughters, Anna (Hasib) Dizdarevic of Waukee and Elizabeth Wygle (Joel Kriz) of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Todd Dann, Aldin Dizdarevic and Corbin Little; his mother, Esther Wygle of Waterloo; his ex-wife, Cindy Wygle of Waterloo; two brothers, James (Karen) Wygle of La Porte City and Verle (Joan) Wygle of Waterloo and a sister, Cheryl (Philip) Tillman of Alburnett.

He was preceded in death by his father.
