Biography--

Ramez D. Rifai, age 35, of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born November 8, 1979 in Miami, Florida, the son of Zuheir and Jacqueline M. McIntosh Rifai. Ramez was united in marriage with Jamie L. Young on May 25, 2002 in Waterloo.

Ramez worked for Ceilly Construction Co. for many years. He loved his children and enjoyed coaching softball.

Survivors include his wife, Jamie of Waterloo; six children, Zaine Rifai, twin daughters Cheyenne and Sierra Rifai, Kaleb Rifai, Michaelis Rifai and Louise Rifai; his mother, Jacqueline (Ronald) Seehase of Waterloo; his father, Zuheir Rifai of Saudi Arabia; a sister, Danielle (Mark) Rifai-Reith of Waterloo; four nieces, Meadow Reith, Derian Young, Arianna Young and Kerian Young and two nephews, Antwan Ackerson and Elijah Ackerson; two brothers, Jamey Seehase and Doug Seehase of Cedar Falls; his maternal grandfather, Donald McIntosh of Waterloo, his paternal grandmother, Arlene Heidemann of Waterloo; three aunts, Janet (Joseph) Eubank of Norfolk, VA, Jerri (Rex) Iehl of Waterloo and Jolene (Kenny) Livingston of Virginia and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Louise McIntosh and an aunt, Robyn Hartl.
