Services:
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, 3146 Kimball Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa 50702

Visitation:
Public visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and an hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Cemetery:
Interment at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in North Lawn Memorial Garden in Iowa Falls, Iowa, with Full Military Honors.

Biography--

Einer Louis Larson, age 88, of Evansdale, died Friday, May 8, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

He was born August 7, 1926 in Armstrong, Iowa, the son of Magnus and Anna Larson. He was united in marriage with Marlene E. Gatliff on December 14, 1947, in Hampton, Iowa. Einer served his country in the US Marine Corps.

Einer became an auctioneer at 16 and he continued to auctioneer until his passing. He also operated two farms in the Iowa Falls area. Later in life he owned several furniture stores in the Waterloo and Evansdale area. Einer and Marlene built numerous homes in Evansdale and the surrounding communities. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and sports of all kinds. He was a former golden glove champion boxer.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene of Evansdale; two daughters, Linda Elaine (Jerry) Smith of Janesville, Iowa, and Cynthia Marlene Larson-Ladd of Mankato, Minnesota; a niece, Toni Ferne Cress who was not a daughter by birth but a daughter in life; three grandchildren, Nic (Nicole) Kehe, Mike Smith and Lisa (Andrew) Ply; three great-grandchildren, Sophiea, Zephyr and Gauge; a sister-in-law, Betty (Bill) Staley of Des Moines, IA and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ann Margit Scheel.
