Biography--

George H. Huntbach, 87, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at his home.

He was born April 11, 1928, in Waterloo the son of Elmer and Sena Huntbach.

He was a graduate of Waterloo East High School. He married Beverly Tibbetts on December 5, 1954 in Waterloo.

George retired after working many years for Altstadt & Langlas Baking Company as a Driver Salesman. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the Waterloo American Legion Post #138 and the Waterloo Men’s Bowling Association.

He is survived by his wife Beverly of Waterloo; one son, David (Kim) Huntbach; two daughters, Susan (Steve Boyd) McDowell and Patty (Richard) Judas all of Waterloo; five grandchildren: Jamey Fox, Amy (Mike) Fleming, Richie Judas, Dana Judas and Dylan Huntbach; six great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Peyton, Carsyn Fox, Brennan, Landon, Adalyn Fleming; one great-great-grandson, Liam Warrior and sisters-in-law, Delva Huntbach, Bonnie Tibbetts, Virginia Smith and Nancy Tibbetts; and a brother-in-law, Harold Smith.

Preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Huntbach; and one brother, Raymond Huntbach.
