Biography--

Mabel Mary Kinkade, 89, of Evansdale, died Saturday, June 20, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born October 2, 1925 in Fayette County, daughter of Phillip and Cecil (Marquette) Livingston. She married Harold Kinkade on May 27, 1945 in Milford, Iowa.

Mabel graduated from the Iowa School for the Deaf, Council Bluffs. She belonged to Word of God Lutheran Church for the Deaf. She was a member of the Iowa Association of the Deaf, Cedarloo Association of Deaf, Silent Homemakers and the Cedarloo Bowling League.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Darrell (Carol) Kinkade of Waterloo and Douglas Kinkade of Harpers Ferry; one daughter Kathryn McCready of Evansdale; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur (Lorraine) Livingston of Waterloo and Jerry Livingston of Parkersburg; one sister Lillian MacTaggart of Strawberry Point; and one sister-in-law, Lorraine Livingston.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald Livingston; a great-grandson, Justin Kinkade; and her son-in-law, Donald McCready.
