Biography--

Nellie L. Kocher, 83, of Newton, Iowa, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Wesley Park Centre in Newton.

She was born April 15, 1932 in Waterloo, the daughter of James F. and Mildred Loy Walters. Nellie married Ralph M. Kocher June 20, 1954 in Washburn. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2012.

Mrs. Kocher was a long time member of Church of Christ in Waterloo.

She is survived by one son, Terry (Robyn) Kocher of Humboldt; two daughters, Lori Kocher of Guttenburg, and Beth McGilvrey of Newton; four grandchildren, Gary (Christina) Newville, Sarah (Brent) Barnard, Wesley Kocher, and Benjamin Kocher; and two great grandchildren, Sommer Newville and Andrew Barnard.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
