Biography--

Holly Lynn (Kerns) Paradine, age 34, of Lincoln, IA and formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Holly was born December 23, 1980, in Waterloo the daughter of Dennis and Lindy (Finney) Kerns. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Holly worked for many years at The Western Home Communities Martin Center and in recent years was employed at Satori Memorial Hospital.

Holly is survived by four children, Natasha Paradine, Dustin Paradine, Jasmine Ortman and Elizabeth Ortman, all at home; her father, Dennis (Deborah) Kerns of Wapello and her mother, Lindy Kerns, of Waterloo; three brothers, Chad Finney and Michael Kerns, both of Waterloo and Dennis (Audrey) Kerns of La Porte City; her maternal grandparents, Emery & Helen Finney of Waterloo; and paternal grandparents, Dean (Donna) Kerns of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Wilma Nelson.
