Biography--

Melissa Marie Herman, 36, of Waterloo, died Friday, October 9, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of natural causes.

She was born May 30, 1979 in Independence the daughter of Dennis and Karen (Roster) Herman. She was a 2000 graduate of River Hills School.

She is survived by her father, Dennis Herman of Waterloo; her mother, Karen (John Becker) Herman of Waterloo; one sister, Jennifer Roberts of Waterloo; one brother, Eric Herman of Waterloo; paternal grandfather, Albert Herman of Evansdale; four nephews, Isaac Roberts, Mason, Landon and Myles Herman.

Preceded in death by: her paternal grandmother, Virginia Herman and maternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Roster.
