Obituary for Michael R. Stark

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Michael R. Stark, 63, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at the Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Falls.

He was born November 8, 1951, in Cedar Falls, son of Richard and Shirley (Hubbell) Stark. He married Kathy Smoot on July 6, 1974 and they later divorced.

He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1970 and was employed with Waterloo Steel and then in maintenance with the Ramada Inn, Waterloo.

He was survived by a daughter, Stacie Stark of Cedar Falls; a son, Justin Stark of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie (Al) Bailey of Evansdale and Patrice Broline of Tucson, AZ; and two brothers, Jeff Stark of Waterloo and Bradford (Bonnie) Stark of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and step father, Otto Krug, Jr.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Service with visitation for one hour prior to the service.
