Dr. Philip Rohrbaugh (1937-2015)

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Dr. Philip Rohrbaugh, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

He was born October 6, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of John Russell and Catherine Glen (Elder) Rohrbaugh. He married Winifred Lloyd Myers on June 25, 1960, in Le Roy, New York.

He graduated from College of Wooster and then Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. He was a family physician with Medical Associates/Covenant Clinic for 31 years, retiring in 2004.

He was survived by his wife, Winnie; son, John (Janelle) of Fort Collins, CO; daughter, Melissa (Brian) Bacher of Mount Pleasant; six grandchildren; and sister, Jean (Larry) Miller of Reed City, MI.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Daniel Josiah and Anna Irene Rohrbaugh.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday, APRIL 27th at Trinity Bible Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 26th at Richardson Funeral Service, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
