MASON CITY,IOWA - Harlan E. Johnson, 87, of La Porte City, Iowa, and formerly of Mason City, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 100 S. Pierce, Mason City, with the Rev. Paul Collier officiating.

Interment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, and continue on Tuesday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be directed to the Harlan E. Johnson Memorial Fund.
