Death Of An Old Citizen

Selah Knapp, an old and highly esteemed resident of Black Hawk County, died very suddenly at his residence near Cedar Falls on Tuesday evening.

He had been to Waterloo and made entries of his stock and farm products at the county fair and returned home him his usual state of health. He was soon taken with an apoplectic fit, which terminated his life in a few minutes.

His death casts a over the community in which he had lived so long and been so worthy a member.
