Obituary for Elda Vae "Penny" Schnock

CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Elda Vae “Penny” Schnock, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Cedar Falls Healthcare Center.

She was born November 7, 1929, in Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of Anno and Greta (Giese) Meyer. She married Carl A. Schnock on August 19, 1967, in South Saint Paul, Minnesota. He died November 22, 2001.

She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1946 and the University of Minnesota in 1966. She worked as an Aid Consultant for the State of Iowa, retiring in 1992.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy K. Stadtler of Waterloo; a brother, Richard Giese of Hamilton, MT; a grandson, Karl Beaupre of WI; and a great-grandson, Kaiden Beaupre.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Beaupre; and a granddaughter, Penni Beaupre.

Family Directed Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Faith Wesleyan Church with inurnment in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls.
