Evelyn Yvette Wiggley Gardner, 31, of Waterloo, died Monday at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born May 18, 1983, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Michael Jr. and Vernell Wiggley Gamblin. She married Corey Gardner on July 27, 2012 in Waterloo.

Evelyn graduated from Waterloo West High School in 2001 and was a full time student at Hawkeye Community College.

Survivors include her husband Corey of Waterloo; a son Corey Gardner Jr. at home; two daughters, Vaneia and Valarie Gardner both at home; her parents, Michael and Vernell Gamblin of Waterloo; three brothers, Charles Wiggley of Waterloo, Antwoine Wiggley of Waterloo and Michael “Valdez” Gamblin Jr. of Waterloo; a brother-in-law, Sirr (Maggie) Gardner of Waterloo; four sisters-in-law, Reecetta Bentley of Waterloo, Quineva Parker of Texas, Aminta (Ronald) Bentley of Waterloo, and Sara Gardner of Waterloo; father and mother–in-law, Reese and Joyce Gardner of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Charles and Evelyn Martin; a great aunt, Carrie Noble; a cousin, Dae’Qaun “Bubba” Campbell.

Services: Monday, November 17, at Faith Temple Baptist Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Visitation also one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
