Terrance Lee Bailey of Waterloo, Iowa, Passed on Monday November 24, 2014 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, of natural causes.
Terry as he was affectionately called was born on February 8, 1960 the 2nd child to Dorothy Sykes Bryant of Waterloo and James Bailey Jr. of Chicago, Illinois.
Terry was baptized at an early age and received Christ at Antioch Baptist Church in Waterloo.
Big T’s favorite pastime was Music and KBOL 100.1 revolutionary radio, was where he acted and volunteered as Station Manager for over 10 years that was his joy, he loved to be called Big TB, a born DJ, the best as they come. He was a proud station manager of his own “DA Bomb internet radio” that was formed by him and his significant other Terrie (Lil Tee) Fulcher.
Terrance leaves to mourn his memory, his mother Dorothy Bryant, Father James Bailey Jr., three brothers Anthony, Gary, and Jeffrey Bailey, one sister Carolyn (Joe) Jones, of Waterloo Iowa.
He married Kimberly Griffin in 1986 in Panama (the Canal Zone) while he served in the U.S. Army, Ex-wife Kimberly Bailey, his significant other Terrie A. Fulcher, DJ’s Daze& Duchess, Sweet G, Chris Terrific, Mystery Mix, Mighty Moet, Ronesie & Joe D, DJ Ise, Mama C and Reality. A special brotherhood bond with Michael Muhammad all of Waterloo, and a host of other sorrowing Friends and relatives.
Terrance was preceded in death by his sons Marcus and Terry Jr., grandparents maternal & paternal, & a sweet lady DJ, Lady E.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at our South Street location, where Full military rites will be conducted by Evansdale Amvets Post 31, Waterloo Amvets Post 19 and the Iowa Army Honor Guard. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
