Frances Marie Laneville

June 23, 1916 - December 12, 2014

Frances Marie Laneville, 98, of Waterloo, died Friday, December 12, at her home.

She was born June 23, 1916, in Waterloo, the daughter of Frank Wilhelm and Mary Magner. She married Dr. Lee R. Laneville on November 24, 1945, in Waterloo. He died October 29, 1978.

Frances was a graduate of OLVA and went on to attend Gates Business College. She was employed as a teller at the National Bank of Waterloo before moving on to work as a receptionist in her husband’s chiropractic office.

Survivors include her sons, Gary Laneville and Michael (Debra) Laneville both of Waterloo; three grandchildren: Drs. Bryan (Ellie) Laneville of Naperville, Ill., Joel (Anna) Laneville of Cedar Falls and Paul Laneville of Waterloo; and three great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Arianna and Jude Laneville.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with entombment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum. Public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary. Visitation also one hour preceding services at the church on Tuesday.
