Josephine P. Riley, 98, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Sunday, January 4, at home.

She was born March 26, 1916 in Momence, Illinois, daughter of Frank and Frances Kaminski Mervin. She married Oran McGee on August 17, 1940. He died in 1944. She married Joseph Riley September 30, 1950 in Riley Ridge. He died in 1990.

Survivors include: two sons, Richard McGee and Dan (Carmen) Riley, both of Waterloo; three daughters, Patricia (Jim) Barz of Cape Coral, Florida, Connie (Steve) Sisson of Omaha, Nebraska, Laurie (Jeff) Sverdahl of North Palm Beach, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Becky McGee of Cape Coral, Florida; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way; five great great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Mervin of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: two sons, Michael McGee and John Riley an daughter in infancy, Mary Francine; five brothers, Herman, Arnold, Isadore, William and Leonard Mervin; and a sister, Rose Keating.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary. Visitation will continue at the church for one hour before services on Saturday.
