Carolee Alice Cutsforth, age 77, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa.
She was born June 22, 1937 in Waterloo, daughter of Leland and Ida “Pearl” Neff Bailey. She married Charles “Chuck” Cutsforth on June 22, 1957 in Waterloo.
Carolee was employed at the Grin & Grow Day Care Center in Waterloo for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck; three sons, Mark (Shari) of Waterloo, Craig (Penny) of Clarkridge, Arkansas, and Todd of Chelmsford, Mass.; her mother-in-law, Esther Cutsforth of Waterloo; a sister, Janine (Neil) Benjamin of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Jason (Amanda), Jessie (Woody), Brianna, Jamie Marie and Elizabeth; eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Keegen, Marcus, Kaylee, Rylee, Cameron, Savannah and Adrienne.
She was preceded by her parents; a brother, David (Jan); a sister, Annette Weatherman-Moore and her father-in-law, Robert Cutsforth.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 8 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation also for an hour preceding services at the church on Thursday.
Memorials may be made to Grin & Grow Day Care.
Carolee was a wonderful wife, loving mother and grandmother, a great sister and a friend to many. She will be dearly missed.
