Darlene G. Wagner, 79, of Waterloo, died Friday, February 13, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born January 15, 1936, daughter of George and Maxine Jochumsen Wagner.

Darlene was employed with the United States Department of State until retirement.

Survivors include two brothers, Ed of Waterloo and Jack of Taylor, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Alice Wagner; and a nephew, Bill Wagner.

A memorial service will be Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with inurnment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary. Visitation will continue at the church for an hour before services on Tuesday.
