Biography--

Earl Clyde Wilson, 80, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa.

Earl was born May 13, 1934, in Raymond, Iowa, son of Clyde and Blanche Brown Wilson. He married Beverly Nichols in 1960 in Minnesota. They divorced in 1979. He then married Beatrice Mae Bartels on June 20, 2000 in Nashua. She died September 4, 2002.

Earl graduated from Independence High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He went on to work as a clerk at the Waterloo Postal Service for 32 years before retiring on November 30, 1990.

Earl is survived by two sons, Todd Wilson of Waterloo, Ronnie Wilson of Des Moines; a daughter, Tammy (Jim) Saisa of Conn.; eight grandchildren, Josh Demprewolf, Andrew Magnall, Jessica Rubendall, Annette Link, Tonya Hunter, Chazmon Wilson, Megan Wilson, Ron Wilson Jr.; two great grandchildren, Hayden Link, Anniston Link; two sisters, Eileen Siediecki of Waterloo, DeVee Wumkes of Hudson, Iowa; two brothers, Warren Wilson of Minn., George Wilson of Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Diane Fleming; two brothers, Jack Albright and Dean Wilson; two sisters, Adie Head and Nadine Green.

Services will be on Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by Waterloo Amvets Post 19 and Evansdale Amvets Post 31 assisted by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Public visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home as well as one hour preceding services.

Memorials may be made to the family.
