Biography--

Warren A. Williams, 90, of Evansdale, died Sunday, April 5 at Bickford Cottage, Cedar Falls.

He was born February 21, 1925 in Afton, son of Vint Williams.

He married Dorothy L. Popenhagen in 1950 in Iowa. She died March 1, 2015.

Warren was employed as a machinist with Viking Pump for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Vince (Cindy) Williams of Waterloo; a daughter, Lois Williams of Waterloo; a nephew, Larry (Sharron) Carrier of Combine, Texas; two nieces, Shirley Arnold of Emory, Texas and Judy Young of Fla.

Preceded in death by a brother, Donald (Gloria) Williams and a sister, Hal (Fred) Graham.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 14 at Hagarty – Waychoff – Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by Waterloo Amvets Post 19 and Evansdale Amvets Post 31 and the Iowa Honor Guard. Public visitation will be for an hour before services.
