Patrick W. Langan

November 3, 1968 - April 29, 2015

Patrick W. Langan, 46, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 29 in Albany, Georgia, from complications of cancer.

He was born November 3, 1968 in Waterloo, son of Dean and Elizabeth Wettengel Langan. He married Andrea Schuler May 28, 1993 at St. Edward Catholic Church, Waterloo.

Patrick graduated from Columbus High School in 1987. He received his Bachelor’s degree from UNI and his PhD from the University of Iowa. He was an Assistant Professor of Management for the past year at Georgia Southwestern State University.

Survivors include his wife; his parents of Waterloo; two sons, Connor and Christian and a daughter, Kelsey all at home, and a sister, Anne Pittman of Gilbertville; two nephews, Brady and Noah Pittman; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Nancy Schuler of Waterloo and a sister-in-law, Jennifer Garris of Calif.

Preceded in death by his grandparents.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at St. Edward Catholic Church with inurnment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at Hagarty – Waychoff – Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 4 pm rosary. Visitation also for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
