January 22, 1937 - May 7, 2015

LaDonna M. Lindquist, 78, of Evansdale, died Thursday, May 7, at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born January 22, 1937 in Wykoff, Minn. daughter of Arlow and Esther Hazelbush Freiheit. She married Peter Peters in 1954 in Spring Valley, Minn. He died in 1983. She married Robert Lindquist July 29, 1985 in Fort Madison.

LaDonna was employed with the US Postal Service for 29 years, retiring in 1999.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Peter (Patty Anderson) Peters of Jesup and Gary (Rachelle) Peters of Conway, Ark.; two daughters, Linda (Bob) Cooley of Waterloo and Lori Jean Lindquist of Kansas City, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wendell (Maggie) Freiheit of Spring Valley, Minn.; and a sister, Shirley (Kenny) Iverson, of Spring Valley, Minn.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Loretta Hanson; a grandson, Nick Peters and a brother, Darrell Freiheit.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty–Waychoff–Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Midway Cemetery, Spring Valley, Minn. Public visitation will be from 4-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and for an hour before services.
