Biography--

Nancy L. Alden, 58, of Hudson, died at UnityPoint Health‑Allen Hospital, on January 6, 2015.

She was born on August 7, 1956, in New Hampton, daughter of Ronald and JoAnne (Kala) Anderson. Nancy graduated from New Hampton High School. She married Joseph D. Alden November 26, 1988, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Nancy worked as a custodian for Hudson Community Schools for 32 years, retiring in 2009. She was a member of Hudson AmVet Aux. Post 82.

She is survived by her husband Joe, of Hudson; her stepchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Alden, of Alexandria, Virginia, and Michelle (Chris) Smith, of Alba, Texas; three sisters: Tracy Anderson, of St. Charles, Minnesota, Kim (Dan) O'Brien, of Ridgeway, Shirley (Dean) Hubka, of Protivin; two brothers, Mark Anderson of Cedar Rapids, and Gene (Susie) Anderson, of Protivin; and four grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
