Biography--

Lorrie A. Folken, 48, of Waterloo, formerly of Waverly, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center, of cancer. She was born on February 11, 1966 in Charles City, daughter of Dewitt and Barbara Logan Hansen. Lorrie graduated with a Nursing Degree from Hawkeye Community College, she also received her license from LaJames International College of Cosmetology.

Lorrie married Gerry Johnson, they later divorced. She then married Daniel Folken and they later divorced. Lorrie co owned and operated D and L used furniture and then worked at East Side Used Furniture.

She is survived by: her fiancé, Les Campbell of Waterloo; a daughter, Mellisa (Donald) Folken Lewis of Waterloo; a son, Jeremiah Johnson of Waterloo; a daughter, Amanda Johnson of Waterloo; her mother, Barbara Jones of Charles City; a brother, Bob (Mary) Jones of Wisconsin; a sister, Shelly Jones of Honnewell, Missouri; a brother, Scott (Ruth) Hansen of Steamboat Rock; a brother, Jimmy (Laurie) Russell of Iowa City; a grandmother, Doris Greenzweig of Des Moines; and a grand-daughter, Kenzington Lewis; along with many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewitt Hansen; her dad, Forrest Jones; and a daughter, Katie.
