Biography--

Harriet G. Casey, 89, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, formerly of Waterloo, died at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Monday, March 2, 2015.

She was born on March 12, 1925 in Sheffield, Iowa, daughter of Harry and Lyda (Vekre) Lunning.

Harriet graduated from Mason City High School in 1943.

She married Louis J. Casey in June 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri. He died March 16, 1995.

Harriet was member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She was a meticulous master of many crafts.

Harriet is survived by: son Gregory L. (Teresa) Casey of Lillian, Ala.; daughter Cindy (Tim) Andreassen of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two grandsons: Gregory L. (Channing) Casey, Jr. of Portland, Ore. and Christopher Casey of Huntsville, Ala.; great-grandaughter Lily; sister LaVonne Baker of Mason City, Iowa; brother Richard (Sharron) Lunning of Swaledale, Iowa; and sister‑in‑law: Virginia Lunning of Hampton, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by: her husband; brothers: Alvin Lunning and Virgil Lunning; and sister Ruthy Vonne Peck.
