Diane Adrienne Knight Andersen, 50, of Elk Run Heights, Iowa, died at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
She was born June 9, 1965 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of John Knight and Kathleen Dalen. She attended Waterloo Community Schools.
Diane married Greg Andersen on September 2, 1989 in Waterloo. She bartended at BJ’s Bar in Waterloo for 10 years and later worked at Country View as a Dietary Aide for seven years.
She is survived by her husband, Greg of Elk Run Heights; two daughters, Amanda Andersen of Elk Run Heights, and Heidi (Brenda Plummer) Andersen of Sioux City, Iowa; two sons, Chance Andersen of Elk Run Heights and Andy (Tina) Andersen of Columbus, Georgia; two grandchildren, Colson (son of Andy & Tina) and José (son of Amanda); two sisters, Angie Rozmus of Waterloo and Sandy (David) Kelley of Marshfield, Missouri; two brothers, Terry (Karen) Knight of Waterloo and Chuck (Barb) Reuter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother; stepfather, Arlen Lorenzen; a brother, Mike Reuter and a niece, Cheryl Reuter-Curtis.
