Cindy L. Orr, 56, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at Cedar Valley Hospice Home on Friday, July 3, 2015. She was born August 21, 1958 in Independence, Iowa, daughter of J. Richard "Dick" and Nancy Velle Smith Orr.

She married Wendy Sillekens on May 7, 2007 in Vught, Netherlands. Cindy graduated from Jefferson Senior High Class of 1976 in Independence and from Northeast Iowa Technical Institute with Iowa Board of Nursing received LPN certification in 1983.

Cindy worked at the Julien Care Facility in Dubuque for almost 20 years; then spent 10 years at Cello Special Needs with Behaviorial Needs in Haren, Netherlands; and most recently was a supervisor MET Dept. at Home Depot since 2012.

She is survived by her wife Wendy Sillekens and sons Nate and Kyle Sillekens, all of Waterloo; her mother Nancy Orr of Independence, brother John (Beth) Orr of East Troy, Wisconsin, sister: Julie (David) Harbaugh of Waterloo, sister: Becky (Butch) Peyton of Independence, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, J. Richard Orr.
