Biography --

Darlene M. (Larsen) Rausch, 78, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at Affinity House on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 of natural causes.

She was born on June 25, 1937 in Independence, Iowa, daughter of Lloyd and Bertha (Quinn) Buck.

Darlene married Donald Bush and he preceded her in death. She had a significant relationship with Ernest Larsen lasting more than 20 years; he died on July 21, 2013.

Darlene was devoted entirely to her family, and worked tirelessly as a mother and as a homemaker. She enjoyed working on crafts in her spare time.

She is survived by daughters: Donna Higuera and Debra Bolin, both of Waterloo, son Douglas Bush of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her niece Julie Foust and her husband Chris of Waterloo: as well as several grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Mary, Carolyn, Edith and Dorothy; and step sister Eilene.

Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 10 at Waterloo Cemetery.

Visitation:
4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9th at Locke Funeral Home.

Cemetery:
Waterloo Cemetery.
