WATERLOO - Betty Jane Arntz, 65, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital from complications of chronic lung disease.

She was born Oct. 7, 1949, in Fredericksburg, Va., daughter of Allen and Mabel McGinniss Crismond. She was employed as an office manager for a dental office in Virginia until becoming disabled.

Survived by a son, David (Nicole) of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Emily and Tyler Arntz; and a sister, Barbara (Barry) Koch of Warrenton, Va.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kimball Avenue United Methodist Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with inurnment in Virginia at a later date. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
