WATERLOO - Dorothy June Jensen Jensen, 94, formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at the Kavanagh House, Des Moines.

She was born June 8, 1920, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Oscar and Elizabeth Anderson Jensen. She married Andy Jensen on Jan. 3, 1942; he died in 2002.

Dorothy worked at Rath Packing Co., Waterloo, was a farm wife and drove a school bus for Dunkerton School for 16 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Isaac Walton League and of one of the Methodist women’s circles.

Survived by a son, Vernon of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Karen (Dave) Waytenick of Cumming; seven grandchildren, Kimberly (Mike) Bryan and Karena (Mike) Newhall, both of Norwalk, David (Christine) Waytenick of Cedar Falls, Michael Waytenick of West Des Moines, Nicole (Jake) Reuter of Epworth, Heidi (John) Kirk of Midland, Texas, and Holly Lee of Chicago; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Bill Erpelding.

Celebration of Life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
