Russell W. Mears, 72, Southern Pine Mobile Park, Bradenton, died Sunday (June 27, 1971).

Born in La Porte City, Iowa. He lived in Bradenton six years coming from Waukegan, Ill. He was a retired foreman and superintendent of construction. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Waukegan and Member of Carpenters Local 1966 of Libertyville, Ill.

Survived by his wife Helen; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Rompella of Suitland, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Hopper of Kenoska, Ill., and Mrs. Luella Smith of Zion, Ill.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Toale Brothers Bradenton Chapel in charge.
