WATERLOO - Christopher R. Cose, 54, of Crosslake, Minn., formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Brainerd, Minn., of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Waterloo, son of Richard and Charlotte Power Cose. He married Ruth Weber, and they later divorced. He then married Bonnie Schott.

Christopher graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1979, attended Hawkeye Institute of Technology, and also served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Bertch Cabinets and then Federal Mogel, Lake City Minn.

Survived by his wife; a son, Dustin of Waterloo; a stepdaughter, Amanda (Jason) Bryan of Minnesota; three grandchildren, Gabby, Caden and Liam Bryan, all of Minnesota; his parents of Waterloo; a brother, James (Antoinette) of Germany; three sisters, Dee (Donnie) Lowe of Illinois, Linnea Cose of Colorado and Vanessa (Jim) Schafer of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles

Preceded in death by a nephew, Anthony Groome; and grandparents.

Celebration of Life service: 1 p.m. Friday at the Katherine Pahl Chapel at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery, preceded by an hour of visitation. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force Honors Detail, Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138 and VFW Post 1623. Kearns Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Christopher was honored to be an organ donor.
