WATERLOO - Harold "Tiny" Steen Jr., 49, of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital.

He was born July 20, 1965, in Waterloo, son of Harold and Mary (Scott) Steen. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1984.

When he was younger he liked to play hockey along with roller/ice skating. In his later years, some of the things he loved most were family, friends, country music, karaoke and hanging out in his dad's garage while his dad refurbished antique cars and trucks. He had a heart of gold when it came to his friends. He enjoyed helping them get to their hospital appointments or driving them to the store whenever possible.

Tiny is survived by his father and mother, a sister, Carol (Jim) Terrell, three brothers, Steve (Lisa), Rocky (Joni) and Jeff (Pam) Steen, all of Waterloo. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and 18 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Steen.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Faith Assembly of God, 5112 Lafayette Road, Elk Run Heights. All are invited for luncheon and fellowship following the service.
