CEDAR FALLS - Jean Marie McCullough, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born Jan. 11, 1932, in Chicago, daughter of Donald and Laura Stevenson Kennedy. She married Dr. Eric McCullough on Oct. 28, 1950.

She graduated from Harper High School in Chicago and attended the Chicago Art Institute.

Survived by her husband; four daughters, Shirley (Russell) Sluiter of Denver, Carol (Duane) Hamilton of Republic, Mo., Sharon (Tim) Fouts of Novi, Mich., and Mary (Bryan) Burton of Waterloo; a son, Brian (Andrea) of Hudson; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley (David) Nelson of Peotone, Ill., and Beth (Bob) Marshall of St. Charles, Ill.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Falls Gospel Hall, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for an hour before services Monday at the Gospel Hall.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.

She loved children, did volunteer teaching at the River Hills School, volunteered at Lilly Ferguson Day Care in Waterloo and helped the Waterloo community when the Bosnians began to arrive. She was happy in fellowship with the Cedar Falls assembly.

With her husband, she made several visits to Antigua in the West Indies for gospel work.
