Funeral services today at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Dr. J. W. Holland over the remains of Mrs. Nellie Augusta Watkins, wife of W. H. Watkins, 509 Franklin Street.

One year go she came with her husband from Parkersburg to make their home in Cedar Falls and purchased the home of Charles Jennings. Ten days ago she cut her finger, but nothing serous was thought of the wound for two days, when signs of blood poisoning developed. Later she was stricken by peritonitis, which proved too much for her strength, and at the age of 50 years she passed away.

Besides Mr. Watkins, one son, Dr. Clifford L. Watkins, Sioux City, survives.

The husband and son accompanied by relatives, will leave tonight with the body for Sioux City, where burial services will be conducted tomorrow.
